Even thou you were frustrated the picture came out beautifully. The fact that you didn't want to slow down or had a little set back doesn't show at all. Tina looks great as so do you and the stars are a very nice touch. I also love the fact that the picture has a light blue tint to it. Plus the fact that you are doing this also for Breast Cancer I think is very honorable. My mother is an 8yr survivor. Keep up the great work and if you need femmes hit me up i'm interested and welling. Take Care God Bless.....

Wow!! It was so much fun working with you and Kuni, I'm already looking forward to doing it again next year -- you can count on me. I hope the shoot went off well today, push on, keep on pushing on. You're doing great things.

p.s. I'm going to use this photo for a blog post if that's cool with you.
Let me know if not.

I walked with Lambda Legal this year. I had no idea hard candy was in the parade! Had I known, I would have asked you could I volunteer to walk with your float. I had fun too, and I feel you on the "mardi gras" atmosphere. It's one aspect of the parade that hasn't really changed in all the years I've attended. I guess you also have to look at the history behind the parade to really understand why white gay men have such a resounding presense. Black people NEED to become more involved in the parades, I wish we would if only to show that we too have strong pride in ourselves and our community. I know we do as a whole, but presense makes the difference. Next year, if you decide to enter hard candy into the parade, keep me in mind!

This is a great topic. Very touchy subject for a lot of studs I'd imagine. For most of our lives there is a sense of simply trying to find oneself, and often you hear a labels being applied to you, even masculine identified labels are applied and some studs reject, some accept, varying reasons. Feminine labels don't affect the swagger, but they're interesting in their own sense because they could be deemed as detracting from our masculinity somehow. I've dated girls that have called me Papi, Daddi, etc, and I didn't protest because those labels were borne of respect for how I identify as a more masculine lesbian, even if I do not under any circumstances want to be a man. Same with Boi or Bro or Bruh. Among most of the studs I know, these are terms of endearment, not terms that signify a disconent of or with our/their womanhood.
