Small But Significant
i ran across a heated debate online about reggie bush on the cover of Essence magazine. i really didn't have a dog in that fight so i merely observed. as a result, when i ran across the magazine on someone's table. i picked it up 2 c what all the hubbub was about. i never found out but did run across a page on relationships. and way down in
Congrats Mo’Nique and Thank U
congratulations to Mo’nique for her golden globe. i was late in seeing the movie Precious. in fact, i just saw it the day before yesterday. i’ve been singing her praises ever since.
prior 2 seeing it, i had been hearing and participating in a lot of conversations with people condemning the movie for its subject matter. some didn’t want to put that image of black folks
Accurate Representation
One of my main reasons 4 producing the Hard Candy Stud Calendar was 2 represent the under-represented. dominant womyn. not necessarily an easy task cuz y'all know that studs are like a box of chocolates. such a wide variety so i let fate decide who would get shown in the calendar. i let the models choose me. i simply put the word out and whoever showed up got a shot.
It Takes A Femme…
It takes a Femme 2 tame the stud beast
It takes a Femme 2 warm her soul
It takes a Femme 2 understand her fully
And that stud takes that Femme 2 have and 2 hold...
Sweet as a butterfly and just as delicate.

Femme:Me
whenever u hear someone say that a woman looks gay, they are usually talking about a butch woman. when i hear that, i often ask if butch=gay, then what r femmes? Ellen gets all the press about her sexuality but Porche goes largely ignored. why is that?
femmes are the invisible gays. people just don't see us or refust 2 believe that we exist. feminine lesbians are often accused of going
